Provided are a system and method for generating electricity via hydrogen generation from methanol-water. The system for generating electricity via hydrogen generation from methanol-water comprises a methanol-water storage vessel (1), a delivery pump (2), a system for hydrogen generation from methanol-water (3), a fuel battery (4), a water-circulating cooling system (5) and a heat pump device (6), wherein the methanol-water storage vessel is used for storing a methanol-water raw material, and the methanol-water raw material can be driven by the delivery pump to be delivered to the system for generating hydrogen from methanol-water via a delivery pipeline; the system for hydrogen generation from methanol-water is used for generating hydrogen through the reforming reaction of methanol and water, and supplying the hydrogen to the fuel battery; the fuel battery is used for producing an electric energy through the electrochemical reaction of hydrogen and oxygen; the water-circulating cooling system is used for heat dissipation and cooling of the fuel battery; and the heat pump device can absorb the heat of warm water in the water-circulating cooling system, and heats the methanol-water raw material in the delivery pipeline. The system and method for generating electricity via hydrogen generation from methanol-water can make the fuel battery operate stably and have a strong reliability, and can make full use of the heat produced by the fuel battery. |
