Sequence of layers for ricochet protection having a base board and further layers dispersed thereon which comprise a porous layer (2, 2', 20) and a foam layer (3, 3', 30). The porous layer (2, 2', 20) and the foam layer (3, 3', 30) are arranged on one side of the base board (10). A sequence of layers of this kind can slow down projectiles without risk of ricochet. <IMAGE>
