PURPOSE:To withstand a high voltage while enabling application from the cold stoppage start by using a solid float in a level gauge for a boiler, chemical plant equipment or the like. CONSTITUTION:The upper part of a solid float 1 is fixed on an anchoring black 7 through a bracket 2, an upper balance plate spring 4, a fulcrum spring 6 and the like. Moreover, the lower part of the float 1 is supported through a bracket 3, a support lever 9, a berrows 10 and a support plate spring 11. Then, the support plate spring 11 deforms according to changes in the buoyancy of the float 1 and variations in the liquid surface are converted into electronical signals with a strain gauge applied on the surface and back thereof. Here, the float 1 need not be lighter than the liquid and may be a round bar of solid steel but in the respect of the sensitivity, it is preferably lighter, hence made of aluminum, plastics, ceramics or the like. |
