PURPOSE:To produce a density gradation effectively by connecting a normal drive signal supply electrode to heating resistors alternately while a pair of electrodes are connected to the remaining ones as connected to both adjacent heating resistors. CONSTITUTION:When drive current are fed to individual electrodes U1, U2... along the main scanning in the direction of arranging heating resistors R1, R2..., current driving the respective heating resistors R1, R2... is divided into two parts with connection electrodes 12 and 12 to flow to adjacent heating resistors RA, RB..., driving them RA, RB... by driving current thus halved. Therefore, for example, the heating resistor RB gives the intermediate density between the print densities of the heating resistors R1 and R2 to facilitate the printing with a density gradation thereby enabling a printing with a high picture quality with a higher heating dot density. |
