PURPOSE:To achieve a pressure resistant explosion proofing function while enabling application for small or medium weighing capacity by providing a fixed cover with a pressure resistant explosionproof strength to form a clearance between a force landing section and the cover. CONSTITUTION:Circular grooves 25 and 26 are formed on the top surface 24 of a cover 4 and at a force landing section 5A of a load cell body 5 and, for example, an O ring 27 made of silicone rubber is mounted between the grooves 25 and 26 to cut the communication of the load cell 5 between the inside 22 and the outside 28 through a clearance 21 with a ring 27. The depth shall be (L2+L3)>= L1 to prevent the creep of fire. The dust and water proofing with the ring 27 can be accomplished by increasing the depth of the clearance 21. Thus, the clearance 21 can prevent the creeping of fire to eliminate the need for a thick diaphragm thereby enabling accurate weighing even in a small or medium weighing capacity.
