In the case of a plaster baseboard (7) for a ventilatable exterior wall facing, an angle profile (10, 11) is adhesively attached at the factory on the rear side (9a), facing the ventilating interspace (8), of a rectangular wood-wool lightweight board (9) in the region of its longitudinal edges (9b, 9c). The one leg (10a, 11a) of the said angle profile, respectively bearing against the rear side (9a), is provided with a multiplicity of holes (12), which are permeated by the adhesive (13), and the other leg (10b, 11b) of which is bent around at its free end in a cross-sectionally hook-shaped manner towards the board plane (E-E), to be precise the leg (10b) of the first angle profile (10) on the one longitudinal edge (9b) is bent inwards with respect to the latter and the leg (11b) of the second angle profile (11) on the other longitudinal edge (9c) is bent outwards with respect to the latter. Both hook-shaped bent-around portions (10c, 11c) are shaped such that the inwardly directed bent-around portion (10c) of the first angle profile (10) of a plaster baseboard (7) fits during installation into the outwardly directed bent-around portion (11c) of the second angle profile (11) of a neighbouring plaster baseboard (7). The height (H) of the leg (11b) of the second angle profile (11), provided with outwardly directed bent-around portion (11c), corresponds to the width (W) of the ventilating interspace (8). <IMAGE>
