PURPOSE:To reproduce signals well independently of presence/absence of a frequency variation signal by controlling switching of an output signal from an angle demodulating means in accordance with the signal which detects whether the frequency variation detection signal is added to reproduced signals or not. CONSTITUTION:If the frequency variation detection signal exists in signals reproduced from a magnetic tape T, a switching control signal is supplied to a signal switch 34 on a basis of the frequency variation detection signal extracted by a BPF28, and the switch 34 is closed. Consequently, the demodulation output from a frequency demodulator 29 is supplied to a frequency variation compensating generating circuit 30. Then, subtracting signals are supplied from the circuit 30 to subtracting circuits 31 and 32, and unnecessary signals due to fluctuation components of the frequency generated in signals are eliminated. Meanwhile, if the frequency variation detection signal does not exist in signals reproduced from the tape T, the circuit 33 opens the switch 34. Then, signals supplied from the circuit 30 to circuits 31 and 32 are zero, and output signals of circuits 31 and 32 are similar to general reproduced signals. |
