The invention relates to a modular-type roofing, composed of individual prefabricated parts, such as a winter garden, terrace extension, summerhouse, greenhouse or the like with a wall, extending upwards from the floor, and a roof. The wall and the roof are formed in each case essentially from panel-shaped wall segments (3, 4, 5) and roof segments (14, 15, 18), respectively, consisting of transparent material, in particular plastic. All the segments are in the form of a triangle and are arranged with respect to one another and connected to one another in such a manner that a self-supporting structure results. In the case of the wall, first wall elements (3, 3') are situated next to one another with their points directed upwards. These wall elements form triangular interspaces which are respectively covered by a pair of second wall segments (4, 5). The latter are at an angle with respect to one another in horizontal section and form an external angle jutting out in front of the plane of the first wall segments (3). The wall-side edge of a roof segment (14, 15) is in each case connected to the roof-side edges of the second wall-side segments (4, 5). Starting from the zig-zag eaves line, the roof segments run inwards in an inclined manner up to a roof-ridge line. The pairs of roof segments either adjoin one another directly or are connected to one another via a first roof segment (18), the point of which is arranged at the respective internal angle of the eaves line. <IMAGE>
