PURPOSE:To arrange a heating resistor without variations in the resistance value on a recording head by selectively removing the glass component at a part intended to form a heating resistor in a high-resistance thick pattern to form the heating resistor in place. CONSTITUTION:A conductive paste is used to form a lead 2 on an alumina substrate 1 by screen printing and baking and then, a resistance paste is used to a high-resistance section 3a by screen printing and baking. Then, a resist pattern 4 is formed with a window at the center by photoetching and with the resist pattern thus obtained as mask, the alumina substrate 1 is emmersed entirely into a fluoric nitrate solution to etch away the glass component from the high-resistance section exposed into the window. Furthermore, after the removal of the resist pattern, the work is baked to form a heat generating section 3b and finally, an overglass 5 is formed. |
