Process for continuous measurement of the opacity of the solid content of suspensions. The latter are fed via a pipe (1) at a flowrate which produces a sufficient centrifugal force, and their direction of flow is changed. The centrifugal force created in the deviation region (8) or a component (9) of this centrifugal force serves as a reference for determining the opacity or solid content. It is thus possible to measure the opacity in an operating manner which is robust and easily learnt, with sufficient accuracy, thus enabling the corresponding installation to be designed in a wear-resistant manner. This invention also concerns the configuration of such an installation for application of the process. |
