Method of fixing the arrangement of a sanitary pipeline system

For fixing the number of service-water draw-off points in a sanitary pipeline system, the pressure loss ( DELTA pv) for each pipe section (R) of the pipe string (1) is determined on the basis of a diagram or numerical chart. For this purpose, principally the drawing quantity (QE) of the individual draw-off points (E), the resulting flow rates (QR) in the individual pipe sections and their pipe lengths (L) are entered in an arrangement plan. The sum of the pressure losses together with a fixed minimum pressure (pmin) at the final draw-off point and the constant pressure loss ( DELTA pv) of the upstream valve (2) with distributing piece (1) yield a required pressure, the number of permissible draw-off points being checked by comparison with the prevailing pressure (pv). <IMAGE>
