<p>A device for the treatment of steel, by injecting a gas which may entrain one or more additives in the form of fine powder, comprising an intermediate ladle (5) arranged between the source of molten steel (1) and the continuous casting ingot mould (41) and divided into at least two compartments by an intermediate partition (8), an entry compartment (6) connected to the source of molten steel and an exit compartment (7) feeding directly, or via a distributor, the continuous casting ingot mould (41), in which device the entry compartment (6) comprises a rotary injector (10). The rotary injector is, for example, provided with convergent radial channels emerging at the periphery of the injector and connected to a gas delivery arranged in the axis of the injector.
