<p>A portable blow heater comprises a blower for producing the flow of air to be discharged through an air outlet thereof, a catalytic combustion heater 40 for heating the airflow, and a fuel container 30 for containing a supply of liquefied fuel such as propane or butane. The fuel released from the container is in contact with the catalyst material at the catalytic combustion heater to effect the catalytic combustion process in the presence of the ambient air for generation of heat. An electric battery 70 is also incorporated for energizing the blower 50 as well as an ignitor 46 which initiates the catalytic combustion. <IMAGE></p> |
