PURPOSE:To improve response speed by interposing a specific porous sheet which exhibits activity of some extent to electrolytic reduction of oxygen between a positive electrode and a current collector. CONSTITUTION:A pierced plate 3, an O-ring 4, a porous protective film 5, a diaphragm 6, the positive electrode 7, the conductive porous sheet 8 and the current collector 9 are housed between a holder body 1 and a holder cap 2 and are tightened by means of screws. The conductive porous sheet 8 consists of metallic powder or carbon powder which exhibits activity of some extent to the electrolytic reduction of oxygen or a mixture composed of the carbon powder carrying the metal and a fluororesin binder. An electrolyte 10 and a negative electrode 11 are housed in a holder body 1. |
