PURPOSE:To make high-speed processing with an information processor, by determining whether or not an exception process is to be performed by comparing an address at which an operational condition is established with an exception address after the operation is terminated even when an exception is contained in an exeption address storing register. CONSTITUTION:When an exception is detected in the course of prefetch of operands, an exception address and exception information are stored in strong registers 6 and 5. When an exception is detected in the course of operand fetch and the exception is contained in the exception information register 5, the content of the exception address register 6 is compared with that of an operation terminating address register 7 indicating the byte position at which an operational condition is established at a comparator 8. If the content of the operation terminating address register 7 is larger than or equal to the content of the register 6, it is regarded that an exception factor exists in an operand required in actual operation and an operand fetching exception controlling device 9 is started and exception processing is performed instead of the instruction termination process.
