PURPOSE:To attach and detach efficiently an electrode by attaching an adapter which is coupled to and detached from an engaging rod to one end of a cell chamber provided with inflow and outflow ports for a sample and fixing the electrode to the adapter by using a prescribed coupling means. CONSTITUTION:The sample inflow port 12 is provided to one end of a cell chamber 10 and a sample supply pipe is connected thereto. On the other hand, the sample outflow port 14 is provided to one side part and a sample discharge pipe is connected thereto. An aperture 18 is provided to the other end of the chamber 10 and the hollow tubular adapter 22 into which the electrode 20 is inserted and embraced is mounted thereto. The adapter 22 and the aperture 18 are liquid-tightly coupled and fixed by means of an O-ring 24. A circumferential groove 26 is engraved to the adapter 22 so that the engaging rod 28 can be inserted therein in the direction tangential thereto. The coupling and detaching of the adapter 22 by the operation of the rod 28 are thus made possible and the efficient attachment and detachment of the electrode 20 are executed. |
