<p>The device is mounted on a movable vehicle which is capable of being moved along a pavement. This device comprises, in combination, a bell-shaped suction means (1) movable between two positions, one operational, where it is in contact with the ground and the other, a rest position, where it is set back relative to the ground, the said means containing at least one spray nozzle (4) connected to a pressurised cleaning agent source, and a suction pipe (2) connected to a partial-vacuum chamber, itself connected to a reservoir for storing the wastewater, the axis of the suction pipe (2) for the wastewater being in a plane which is substantially parallel to the ground and closest to the latter, and the jet from the nozzle (4) being mounted so as to be movable about a horizontal axis to converge in the direction of the suction flow of the wastewater. <IMAGE></p> |
