PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information transmission device capable of effectively preventing information from being transmitted by transmission setting unintended by a user.SOLUTION: An information transmission device PC100 has a UI-less mode for instructing an MFP 300 to transmit information by transmission setting received from a setting application and a normal mode for instructing the MFP to transmit the information by the transmission setting input by a user operation by displaying a setting input screen as an operation mode. The PC stores a PID(Process Identification) in the setting application in a memory when receiving a command or the like from the setting application (S5). Also, the PC acquires the PID from the setting application before instructing the MFP to transmit the information (S7 to S8).
