PURPOSE:To reduce a stain of an optical system, and to execute easily cleaning by feeding air from which dust is removed, to the periphery of a photosensitive body from an optical system for projecting a laser beam, in a device for recording an image by projecting a modulated laser beam to the photosensitive body. CONSTITUTION:A laser optical system 23 scans a laser light 18 existing in its inside, by a rotary polyhedral mirror 19, and forms an electrostatic latent image by irradiating a modulated laser light 5 to a photosensitive drum 1 through a glass plate 22 by an image forming lens 20 and a reflecting mirror 21. The glass plate 22 is covered with a member 24 having a fine slit 24. Air which is made to pass through a filter 27 is fed through a pipe 25 by a pump 26, and the surface of the glass 22 is cleaned. Or the glass plate 22 is omitted, and air from which dust is removed by the filter is fed into a case for forming the laser optical system 23. In this way, a stain of the optical system is prevented, and a trouble for cleaning can be saved. |
