PURPOSE:To prevent a bending load from being applied to a test piece by fitting a guide sleeve to the outside peripheral surface of a pair of load jigs with a shearing edge provided on a load shaft, and guiding its jigs so that they can move relatively in the axial direction, and also are not varied in the horizontal direction. CONSTITUTION:A pair of upper and lower load jigs 2H, 2L to which a pair of right and left shearing edges 1R, 1L have been fixed are placed on a load shaft X and connected to a pair of upper and lower pull rods 3H, 3L, an inner hole 4 is formed at right angles to the axis X in a half-split part of the jigs 2H, 2L split into half along the axis X, and a test piece T.P provided at right angles to the axis X is contained in the hole 4. Subsequently, the jig 2H is engaged to a flange 7 of the upper end of a guide sleeve 6 fitted to the outside peripheral surface of the jigs 2H, 2L, the jig 2L is slid along the sleeve 6 by moving the jig 2H as one body with the sleeve 6, and a shearing load is applied to the test piece T.P by the edges 1L, 1R which are not displaced in the horizontal direction. |
