According to the present invention, a battery cover band is disclosed. According to the present invention, the battery cover band comprises a protection material of a tube shape having a hollow defined therein to surround a battery cell without a separate adhesive so as to protect the battery cell from external environments. The protection material is made of an elastic material and divided into at least two regions. The regions have different elastic moduli. Continuously, a battery cell assembly comprising the battery cover band is disclosed.
