Disclosed are a mobile terminal and a controlling method thereof. In the mobile terminal and the controlling method thereof according to the present invention, when receiving an input with respect to an edge region of a display unit, the display unit is divided into a plurality of regions based on a center of the display unit by corresponding to the number of a plurality of first applications which are on multitasking, and execution screens of a plurality of the first applications are displayed on a plurality of the regions, respectively. In addition, a plurality of the regions are rotated and displayed according to a drag input in a clockwise direction or a counterclockwise direction with respect to the display unit, and when the drag input is stopped, an execution screen of a first particular application displayed in a particular region among a plurality of the regions of the display unit is displayed in a full screen of the display unit. According to the present invention, interworking among a plurality of applications which are on multitasking is easily achieved. |
