摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of urgent operation devices and obtain excellent availability by detecting urgent faults of both systems through double urgent operation devices respectively, and allowing one urgent operation device to perform start-up operation and the other to monitor the start-up side and also perform start-up processing by its system. CONSTITUTION:An urgent fault detection part 204 starts a main control part 205 in case of an urgent fault and enters an urgent operation state. This start occurs to the urgent operation devices of both systems. An urgent operation state flip-flop 207 indicates a system (0 or 1) which starts up in the last urgent operation; and the urgent operation device of the other system performs start-up processing and the device of the former system enters a monitor state. When the start-up processing is carried out, the main control part 205 initializes a processor and performs IPL (Initial Program Loading) through a processor bus control part 209 and a processor bus 115 and starts a restart processing program. The result of the start-up processing is reported to the urgent operation device of the other system through a mate control part 208 and a mate bus 120.
