PURPOSE:To install a plant barge at a given height by a method in which a plant barge is floated by the buoyance of mud water injected into side walls surrounding an installation position and extending from the seabed to above the sea surface and then landed on the sediment sludge. CONSTITUTION:Side walls 5 extending from the seabed 4 to above the sea surface 2 are constructed in such a way as to surround a plant barge 1 in an installation position 3. Mud water 7 is charged through the supply tube 6 of a mud water supplier into the side walls 5 to allow the plant barge 1 receiving the buoyancy to float in the side walls 5. At a time when sludge 8 is deposited up to the upside of the side walls 5 above the bottom face 10 of the plant barge, the supply of mud water 7 is stopped, and when the sludge 8 is hardened in the side walls 5, the barge 1 is landed and installed on the bottom of the floating position. The floating and setting on the bottom of the plant unit and the formation of installation site can be concurrently performed. |
