PURPOSE:To effectively perform a damping by connecting a damping resistor through a full-wave rectifier, thereby attenuating a current of any direction by the resistor. CONSTITUTION:Stator coils Ma, Mb of phases A and B are connected with a bipolar drive circuit DRV, and the input terminals of full-wave rectifiers Ba and Bb are connected with both ends of the coils Ma, Mb. Damping resistors Ra, Rb and a switching element, i.e., Darlington type transistors Qa, Qb are connected in series with the output terminals of the rectifiers Ba, Bb. The switching elements Qa, Qb are controlled by a controller CNT to conduct at every step for the prescribed time. |
