PURPOSE:To obtain an inserting device which has no irregular size of a slot liner by feeding an insulating film slightly longer than the inner peripheral size of the slot, and sequentially correcting a slot after cutting in an accurate length. CONSTITUTION:In a device for feeding an insulating film 1 by a feeding mechanism 2 to a cutting and shaping mechanism 3, cutting, shaping and inserting it into the slot 41 of a magnetic core 4, the film 1 having a length longer than the inner peripheral size of the slot 41 by the mechanism 2 to a cutting and shaping mechanism 3. The mechanism 3 accurately cuts only the inner peripheral size of the slot 41 to shape and insert into the slot 41, and generates an excess feeding amount as a slack 12. When the slack 12 becomes the prescribed amount or larger, it is detected by a detection sensor 5 to allow feed rollers 22, 23 to become free and to simultaneously return the film 1 by a returning mechanism, thereby correcting the slack. |
