PURPOSE:To improve the bonding strength by forming projecting strips of the prescribed pitch by half-etching on the upper surface of a thin plate bonded onto a platelike pole member, thereby uniforming bonding. CONSTITUTION:Bodies 13a-13d superposed on a plate pole member are disposed oppositely to a yoke on a thin plate 13 of a linear pulse motor. Projecting strips 14 are formed to align in the telescopic direction of the secondary scale at the prescribed pitch P by half-etching corresponding to the positions of the heads of the pole members on the upper surfaces of the bodies 13a-13d. The strips 14 are disposed on the heads to form teeth of poles, and displaced at 1/4 pitch at every body 13a-13d. The bodies 13a-13d are coupled by couplers 15 between those to be connected with the same coil, and coupled between those to be coupled with different coils at the portions formed with the strips 14 in an integral entire structure.
