PURPOSE:To allow an operator reuse commands which are inputted previously without paying attention to input registration, etc., specially by storing a command inputted by the operator in a computer automatically when the command is executed. CONSTITUTION:While the execution of a program to be debugged is stopped, a debugging system 10 performs control according to commands inputted from a terminal device 3. In this case, the input commands are for displaying values of variables in the program to be debugged, substituting values in variables, and starting the execution at a specified address. When a specific key is operated on the terminal device 3, a controller 4 transfers held input information to the buffer 13 of a main storage device 2 and the debugging machine 10 receives it and executes the command when the received information is the command. At this time, the debugging system 10 transfers the command from an input buffer 13 to a command stack 14.
