PURPOSE:To reduce or prevent noise from occurring by restraining the movement of friction material by providing annular grooves on the sliding surface of the disc rotor. CONSTITUTION:The disc rotor 1 has multiple grooves 5 concentrically with the rotational axis of the disc on the swept area 4 on its outer perimeter on both sides against which friction materials A, A' are pressed. Protrusions will develop on the friction surface of the friction materials A, A' at locations that correspond to said grooves 5, and by the meshing of the protrusions and grooves 5, the movement of the friction materials A, A' are restrained to reduce or prevent the noise from occurring. |
