PURPOSE:To eliminate ground stains and to improve the density of image quality by using a toner which is spherically shaped and of which the size and variance of the grain size distribution have prescribed values. CONSTITUTION:Electric charge is injected to a toner T on a donor 1 to form an electrostatic charge distribution to a desired pattern. The toner T electrostatically charged to a prescribed polarity is directly transferred to a recording medium S by the transfer voltage of the polarity reverse from the polarity of said toner or is transferred to an intermediate transfer recording medium. The visible recorded image is formed by the transferred toner T. The toner which is spherically shaped and of which the center of the grain size distribution is between 5- 15mu and the variance thereof is within + or -25% is used as the toner T to be used for the recording method of the above-mentioned system. |
