The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for pain treatment. The apparatus of the present invention includes: a neural signal detector detecting a neural signal using an electrode used for detecting neural signal injected into the brain; a pain regulator analyzing neural signal detected by the neural signal detector so as to predict the degree of pain and outputting an electric stimulating regulatory signal depending on the predicted degree of the pain; and an electrostimulation generator applying electrostimulation through an electrode for electrostimulation injected into the brain depending on the electrostimulation regulatory signal.
