TURBO COMPRESSOR AND REFRIGERATING DEVICE HAVING THE SAME

The present invention relates to a turbo compressor and a refrigerating device having the same. The turbo compressor comprises: a motor housing; a stator disposed within the motor housing; a rotor rotatably disposed within the stator; a shaft having the rotor installed thereon; an impeller installed on the shaft; a bearing housing coupled to the motor housing; a thrust collar installed on the shaft; a first air foil bearing positioned between one surface of the thrust collar and the bearing housing; a seal member installed on the bearing housing; a second air foil bearing positioned between the other surface of the thrust collar and the seal member; and an accelerometer installed on an outer circumference of the bearing housing. The accelerometer installed on the outer circumference of the bearing housing is able to effectively detect over-vibration of the bearing housing generated when the air foil bearing has an error.
