PURPOSE:To set the optimal ignition timing with corresponding to each operating condition and demand by employing an ignition timing data map set with correspondence to the operating condition while selecting with predetermined priority corresponding with the operating condition. CONSTITUTION:It is comprised of a memory M6 for storing plural ignition timing data maps set with correspondence to the operating condition of an internal-combustion engine M1, means M7 for selecting the corresponding ignition timing data map with predetermined priority from said memory M6 and ignition control means M8 for performing ignition at this timing. Here, the data map selecting means M7 will decide sequentially whether it will correspond with actual operating condition from the operating condition corresponding with the ignition timing data map having lowest priority to the ignition timing data map having highest priority and to employ such data map as corresponding with the finally decided operating condition.
