PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for the operation to remove the excess part after molding by delineating and forming hermetically a molding space in the state of enclosing the region for forming an information pattern of a stamper then pouring a resin for molding while allowing air, etc. to espace from the inside of the molding space. CONSTITUTION:An annular outside peripheral frame 6 is integrally formed to the outside end edge position of a stamper 5 in an outside peripheral marginal region F1 assured adjacently to the region Z for forming the information pattern on the side outer than the outside peripheral edge of the region Z. An annular inside circumferential frame 7 is also formed to said stamper near the center of an inside circumferential marginal region F2 on the side inner than the inside circumferential edge of the region Z. The molding space M is hermetically delineated and formed by the four; the stamper 5, both frames 6, 7 and a replica substrate 12 closing the aperture 10 at the top surface between the frames 6 and 7. A resin injecting port 13 and an excess resin leading- out path 14 are provided to the peripheral wall (m) constituting the space M except the region Z. The resin 15 for molding having fluidity is injected through the port 13 while a negative pressure is kept acted to the path 14 and is thereby molded. The need for the operation for removing the excess resin after molding is thus eliminated and productivity is improved. |
