PURPOSE:To operate turbine equipment having characteristics to change the condenser pressure largely depending on the environmental condition, with the utmost efficiency by extracting steam from an intermediate stage before exhaust so that the exhaust volume from the turbine becomes constant. CONSTITUTION:The steam from a boiler 1 is introduced into a turbine 4 and after working in the turbine 4, is discharged to a condenser 6. The water condensed in the condenser 6 is pressurized by feed water pumps 7, 8 and is returned to the boiler 1. The pressure change in the condenser 6 is detected by a pressure gauge 12 and the pressure is converted to the specific volume of steam by an operator 13, and the pressure after the first stage of the turbine 4 detected by a pressure gauge 14 is converted to the turbine load by an operator 15 and both the values from the operators 13, 15 are compared by an adder 16. When the condenser pressure is low enough, the turbine exhaust loss increases, so that the steam is extracted from an extraction point 9 so as to drive a feed water pump turbine 10. When, inverserly, the condenser pressure is high, the turbine exhaust loss also increases and in this case, the extraction of steam from the turbine 4 is stopped and a motor 18 is started. |
