PURPOSE:To enhance the reliability by forming so that the electromagnetic attracting force of a movable element acts longitudinally symmetrically with a centroid as a center, thereby eliminating a varivation in a load of a bearing. CONSTITUTION:A linear pulse motor has a movable element 1 and a stator 2, and has an exciting pole 3, an exciting magnet 4, a magnetic path iron plate 5 and an exciting coil 6. The first to fourth magnetic control elements are formed of the exciting pole pairs 3a and 3b, 3c and 3d, 3e and 3f, 3g and 3h, the first and second magnetic control elements form the first minimum unit configuration, and the third and fourth elements form the second minimum unit configuration. When exciting coils 6a-6d are excited in the polarity in the prescribed sequence, the poles of phi loop as shown are strengthened by the magnetic fluxes from magnets 4a-4h and the poles due to exciting coils 6a-6d, and the other poles are weakened in the polarity of the excited phase, and a propulsion force is obtained to move at every 1/4 pitch. |
