PURPOSE:To connect a key matrix to plural processors by gating the output of a scanner and a return signal through a gate circuit. CONSTITUTION:Key codes, etc., are inputted to the 1st and the 2nd processors 15 and 25 from the 1st and the 2nd scanners 11 and 21 which scan the key matrix 1 respectively through encoders 14 and 24. In this case, the 1st and the 2nd gate circuits 13 and 23 which gate the return signal of the key matrix 1 and gate circuits 16 and 26 which gate the outputs of the scanners 11 and 21 are provided. Then, the scanner 11 generates a scanning signal with a reference clock from an oscillator and when a changeover switch 2 selects the 1st processor 15, the signal is outputted to the key matrix 1 through the gate circuit 16. Further, the on state of a push button switch A is inputted to the encoder 14 through the gate circuit 13.
