The extinguishing chamber is surrounded by an arc-persist insulator(1) in a moving contact type switch. More than two movable materials(3) are attached in the passage of the moving contact(5) by a spring(4). The moving materials contact the two sides of the contact(5) and makes the gas by the arc heat. The arc occurs when the contact(5) moves in the off direction and (3) closes the passage. The gas is shut up in the chamber.
