PURPOSE:To constitute the self-complementary antenna in one plane, to reduce its size, and to widen the band of input impedance by arranging two nearly equal conductive plates in crossing relation, and making the external edges of the conductive plates rectangular or semicircular. CONSTITUTION:Nearly semielliptic conductive plates 11 and 12 are arranged crossing each other and fed at their nearby parts F1 and F2 through a coaxial cable or parallel feeder. Further, the conductive plates 11 and 12 are made square, rectangular, or semicircular to constitute the self-complementary antenna. The distance (b) of the Y-axial peripheral edge is varied with the X-axial distance (a) to widen the band of input impedance from feed parts F1 and F2. Then, the self-complementary antenna is constituted in one plane and reduced in size, and wide-band characteristics are improved. |
