PURPOSE:To reduce the wear of a contact and to prevent a noise of high level from generating by supplying the open voltage of a discharge capacitor to a stepup choke by a switching element. CONSTITUTION:An AC power source AC is rectified and smoothed, and applied to a series circuit of a discharge capacitor C2 and a discharge choke CH1 having extremely high L/C through an overcurrent preventing circuit (ZD1, X1, X, R2). The primary coil of a stepup choke CH2 is connected through a SCR1 with the both ends of the capacitor C2, and a gate signal is applied to the gate of the SCR1 through a variable resistor VR1, a resistor R3, a capacitor C3 and a diode D1. Thus, when the capacitor C3 arrives at the prescribed voltage, a signal is applied to the gate of the SCR1 to turn the SCR1 ON, a current is flowed to the primary side of the choke CH2 to obtain a high discharge voltage at the secondary side. |
