PURPOSE:To prevent information to be recorded from being absent even if the gap of a magnetic head is clogged by sending out the same recording signal for plural gaps at the same time. CONSTITUTION:Even if a gap 7 for recording is clogged with dust, magnetic powder, etc., sticking on a magnetic tape 8 to cause a failure in recording, recording information recorded by a recording gap 6 remains on the tape 8 as effective information and there is no absence of information. If the gap 6 is clogged, on the other hand, recording information by the recording gap 5 remains on the tape 8. Therefore, information is recorded securely by a digital audio tape recording device which has short recording gap length and, therefore, has a gap clogged easily. |
