PURPOSE:To achieve wide range air/fuel ratio control while to uniform the distribution in an air/fuel rtio controller where carburetor nozzle is arrnaged individually in respective intake path for plural cylinders while a constant negative pressure valve is provided in the upstream of carburetor, by making a hole opened to the atmosphere through the float chamber and leading the negative pressure into an intake tube then controlling the negative pressure freely. CONSTITUTION:Interlocked individual throttle valve 21 is arranged in the path for taking in the air individually to a plurality of cylinders then the nozzle 24 of carburetor is opened to respective intake path in the upstream of partitioin of the intake path. Then a constant pressure control valve 17 to be opened/closed by a diaphragm 14 to be functioned through the negative pressure in the intake tube is arranged in the upstream. A small diameter hole 26 opened to the atmosphere and a hole for leading the negative pressure to the intake tube while provided with a solenoid valve 25 are made through the float chamber 22 to perform duty ratio control of solenoid valve 25 with correspondence to the engine operating condition thus to control the pressure in the float chamber. Since the negative pressure is controlled to approximately constant vacuum, it can be controlled accurately over wide range while the fuel can be distributed uniformly. |
