PURPOSE:To attain ease of adjustment of read/write of a memory of each display device by dividing a display section into each display block, providing a buffer memory corresponding to each display block and transferring data from each buffer memory to each display block in parallel. CONSTITUTION:The display section 1 is divided into plural display blocks 9, and the vertical period of the video signal is divided into plural periods corresponding to the said division. Then the video data converted into a digital signal by an A/D conversion circuit 4 is written sequentially in a buffer memory 10 provided at each block 9. After the write is finished, the written data is transferred to the memory 2 of the device 8 of the corresponding block 9 from the memory 10 at the period when the data write is restarted. Thus, the read/write of the memory 2 in each device 8 is adjusted easily.
