PURPOSE:To reduce the response time for measurement by arranging an electrolytic layer made of an electolytic crystal with the crystal diameter of 8mum or less which is developed tightly on a layer containing a non-water soluble salt with respect to metal of an electrode. CONSTITUTION:An aqueous solution containing an electrolytic salt is applied on a layer which contains a non-water soluble salt with respect to metal used in a conductive metal layer. Then, the coated layer is dried by being brought into contact with a flowing gas heated up to over 40 deg.C. Thus, an electrolytic layer is formed on a layer containing a water soluble layer in such a manner as to be made up of an electrolytic crystal with the crystal diameter of 8mum or less tightly developed thereby making the potential stable in a very short time. |
