PURPOSE:To prevent hunting action in operation of a cooling water system, by controlling a communicative condition, in which a bypass circulating water path communicates with a main cooling water path, by a water temperature sensor mounted in the vicinity of an inlet of cooling water in the bottom part of an engine. CONSTITUTION:A water temperature sensor 9 is provided in the vicinity of an inlet of cooling water in the bottom part of an engine. A controller 10 controls in accordance with an output of the water temperature sensor 9 the opening of an electric motor-driven mixing valve 8 which determines a communicative condition that a main cooling water path 3 communicates with a bypass circulating water path 4. An idle time can be eliminated and hunting action can be prevented in a cooling water system due to its delay by optionally setting the communicative condition between the bypass circulating water path 4 and the main cooling water path 3. |
