<p>PURPOSE:To reduce self-exciting vibration by gluing a viscous and elastic member with a retainer plate onto the back of the armature or rotor. CONSTITUTION:A viscous, elastic member 9 and a retainer plate 10 are glued onto the back of the armature 3 of electromagnetic clutch, and a viscous, elastic member 9 and a retainer plate 10 are glued onto the back of rotor 4. The viscous, elastic member 9 and a retainer plate 10 are glued onto the back of rotor 4. The viscous, elastic member 9 consists of resin having both sticky and elastic properties. The retainer plate 10 has a metal plate having stiffness on the armature side and a metal plate having magnetism interrupting characteristics on the rotor side in order to interrupt a magnetic circuit generated in the rotor. As a result, it becomes possible to substantially dampen the vibration.</p> |
