摘要 PURPOSE:To attain miniaturization by selecting and multiplexing optical signals with different wavelengths from wavelength multiplex optical signals of plural switch circuits of an exchange stage and inputting the result to other exchange stage so as to improve the crosstalk characteristic and reduce variance between channels and then decrease the number of wirings. CONSTITUTION:Wavelengths lambda1-lambda3 are assigned to output wavelengths of electrooptic converting circuits 301-303 and multiplexed at an optical synthesizer 401, then the result is inputted to a wavelength selection circuit 420. Similarly, wavelengths lambda2-lambda1 and lambda3-lambda2 are assigned to the output wavelength of circuits 304-306 and 307-309, and after they are multiplexed at synthesizers 402, 403, the result is inputted to the circuit 420. Wavelength selecting elements 423, 426 and 429 of the circuit 420 select the optical signals of lambda1-lambda3 from the wavelength multiplex optical signals of input light guide lines 431-433 and the signals are outputted from a light guide path 443. Similarly, elements 421-428 select respectively the signals and give outputs to the paths 441, 442. The output of the path 443 is demultiplexed by an optical demultiplexing filter 411, inputted to optoelectric converting circuits 314-316, the output of the paths 442, 441 is demultiplexed and inputted to optoelectric converting circuits 314-316 and 317-319.
