PURPOSE:To determine exactly the relative positions of plural cores and the attaching direction thereof with respect to a medium by adhering slender block- shaped magnetic bodies to both sides of a ceramic block, slicing the block and winding the resultant cores thereby forming magnetic heads. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic bodies 2, 3 each having a space 4 are adhered to both sides of the block-shaped ceramics 1. The bound block body 4 is sliced in the longitudinal direction of the bodies 2, 3 and is divided to bound head-base core pieces 6. The coils 10, 11 are wound on the cores 8, 9 to form the magnetic heads 12, 13. A head holder 16 having a holding surface 14 and a surface 15 to contact with a medium is provided. A head base 7 is attached to the surface 14 and the cores 8, 9 are projected to an aperture 17 formed to the surface 15 to contact with the medium 18. The leakage flux between the cores 8 and 9 is decreased by a magnetic shielding plate 19 adhered to the holder 16. The relative positions between the cores 8 and 9 and the attaching direction with respect to the medium 18 are thus exactly determined. |
