A method for policy decision, comprising: a policy and charging rule function (PCRF) device receiving a policy request of a first user sent from a gateway device; the PCRF device determining that the first user needs to use a cumulative item of a second user according to the policy request; the PCRF device acquiring a current state of the cumulative item of the second user by means of a session of the second user established between the PCRF device and a charging system; and the PCRF device generating a control policy of the first user according to the current state of the cumulative item of the second user, and sending the control policy to the gateway device. The method can realize sharing of cumulative data between users, so that one PCRF device only needs to establish a session with the charging system and acquire the current state of a cumulative item corresponding to first cumulative data by the session, thereby decreasing the processing pressure of the charging system, and further alleviating the performance loss of the charging system. |
