PURPOSE:A fat transfusion agent containing dietetically necessary fatty acids in good balance, having antithromobotic action, comprising docosahexaenoic acid, its ester, or their mixture, a vegetable oil, an emulsifying agent water. CONSTITUTION:5-20w/v% docosahexaenoic acid, or its ester (e.g., docosahexaenoic acid triglyceride, or its ethyl ester), or their mixture is blended with 1-19w/v% vegetable oil, 1-2w/v% emulsifying agent, and the rest of water, to give a fat transfusion solution agent. In human serum or cells, a large amount of >=20C fatty acids such as eicosapentaenoic acid, docosahexaenoic acid, etc. exist, existing fat transfusion solution agent comprising a vegetable oil as a lipoid component is dietetically unsatisfactory. The fat transfusion solution agent of this invention contains fatty acids in good balance, which are required with respect to the science of nutrition. It is also useful as an antithromobotic agent and an antiarteriosclerotic agent.
